We offer the possibility to create more customized events for the handling of application forms. You can add a window.datalayer to the form. So when this version of the form is used, you allow your website developers to inform the user about different events.
By doing so it is possible to notify the visitor of your website, for example that the Document was successfully uploaded or maybe show an error message with more information regarding required fields to fill or other missing information.
The following events can be leveraged:
-
form_loaded
-
form_submitted
-
form_submit_successful
-
document_uploaded
-
error_happened
Creating a Lightning Out snippet
This will greatly improve the overall experience of your website users/candidates. In order to make use of these options, you need to create a different ‘Lightning Out snippet’ of the Application Form:
-
Open the ‘Form Designer’ through the Byner Setup and choose the intended Application Form.
-
Create a new ‘Lightning Out snippet’ and make sure to set the checkbox ‘Create Google datalayer events’ to true, so Datalayer events can be generated.
-
Share this new example ‘Lightning Out snippet’ with your website developers.
